H20 Fitness
H2O Fitness was started in 1994 and is located in Silver Spring, Md. In the beginning, it only consisted of Peggy and one other instructor; who still works for her. At first, the company only taught water fitness classes. Now H2O Fitness has more than 30 instructors, who teach everything from water exercise to pilates. Some types of classes offered are water exercise and aerobics, Pace, Abs & Glutes, deep water, arthritis, senior, pilates and resist-a-ball. Classes are offered throughout the area from clubs to condos all year long. In the summer, additional instructors are hired to cover all the extra outdoor water aerobic classes.
